We were thinking that a bike ride around the Forggensee might be a nice idea if the weather is nice when we are in Fussen. Can't seem to find where the Bike Rental is. anyone done this? Thanks

I think you mean the Forggensee, right? Does your hotel have bikes? Most do...especially if you are staying in little Horn-Schwangau right next to the lake. I would definitely choose Horn over Fussen.

Thanks Tim. We are staying in SCHWANGAU , but I never thought to check on there for rental. I'm going to check with our hotel first, just incase. :)

We've stayed at both the Hotel Helmerhof and Hotel Ruebezahl and they both had bikes to lend to their customers. It's such a bike friendly area I would think your hotel probably has bikes to lend, too.

Unfortunately they don't. I checked. That's ok. We will just look into the frontal place if we decide to do that. Depends on our time. Thanks for your help with the link.
