With the recent transportation changes to Mont-St-Michel, is it possible to ride bicycles all the way to the island?

I would be concerned about how to secure the bikes once there. I'm sure there is a good answer to this, just would want to know what it was before I went.

The latest news I have is that access to any vehicle, including bicycles, will be forbidden from April 28th onwards. You will have to park your bike and walk, or use the shuttles.
