We've got just 1/2 day that we can spend in South France along the Spanish Border. Should we choose Biarritz, Bayonne or St. Jean Pied de Port. We want to shop, walk along cobblestone streets, appreciate charm, scenery, maybe have a crepe for lunch....

Not sure about the crepe unless you want a seafood crepe as seafood is big in Biarritz but we absolutely loved this town, Bayonne we found was too large and too hard to navigate.

For such a short time, Biarritz is probably where you are going to find your greatest enjoyment. It is on the ocean and has been a resort town for a long time. You will find a lot of beauty here. Best to stick to one location given your short time. Should you have a longer period a quick trip down to San Sebastian would also be worth it. Enjoy yourself.
