Rick's Spain Guide mentions (under Sevilla) Day Tours of the White Villages run by an Aussie, Paul McGrath. On Mar 27, I booked a trip for May 16 for 2 of us (E48/person) almost 2 months in advance.
Just before we were to get into a cab to take us to the starting point of the tour on May 16, I got a call from Paul telling me that the tour was off unless we were ready to pay for the whole van ourselves! When I asked why, he said that the others who had made reservations had dropped out at the last moment and so he couldn't afford to take just the 2 of us!
This is highly unprofessional and I hope Rick makes a note of this. It ruined our entire day and we had to scramble and leave early for Granada (which wasn't a bad thing at all!).
