Can someone recommend a good hotel in Bettmeralp? My wife and I plan to stay there and hike the area next month. I have read good information about the area on this site. Thanks

We love Bettmeralp!!! Have been there 4 times and have always stayed at Hotel Panorama, on half board. The food is very good, and well-priced. Views from the south-facing rooms are fantastic. However, they do not speak much English. If that is a requirement, there is a hotel nearer the cable car station that a friend enjoyed, where the proprietor speaks English. I will have to consult a map of Bettmeralp to find the name of that one.

I hope you have a great time there. The hike along the ridge above the Aletschgletscher is one of our favorites in the world.
