Best way to stay in Paris

Hi,
My wife and I are planning to visit Paris for 2 nights in Mid-October. We would like to know what is the best way to stay in Paris - Apartments or Hotels ? Please advise. Is there any website where we can get some pointers or details where we can stay in Paris ?

Thanks,

From what I have read on this forum and checking with rentals. Most rentals are not available for 2 nights. I would suggest a hotel. I found one in the Latin Quater about a 5 minute walk to Notre Dame for E 115.00 no breakfast. Check out Hotel Dei Capitani. There are literally 100's of hotels depending on where you want to be situated in the City - I would suggest the Marais area or Latin Quarter to be central to the museums and general sites to see.

Agreed. For only two nights, you're better off at a hotel.

I agree with others, a hotel. You asked for "best pointers on hotels"...1. Rick Steves book, most libraries have it 2. Archive this Helpline 3. On this website, go to "Share your feedback for all of Rick Steves' Guidebooks"

Hello. My husband and I just stayed at the Hotel Le Littre (6th arron.) this past June. We are returning to the same hotel next May. We loved the location.
