we will be staying in the latin quarter (rue broca) and we are wondering if a taxi or public transportation is the quickest way there. need to catch a 10 am flight back to the states. all opinions and advice are welcome. thanks !!!:):)

You will be very close to the "RER B" train line which goes from the Latin Qtr all the way to CDG airport. Not every RER B train ends up at the airport, so look at the station info panels on the platform to see if a light shows next to Aeroport CDG. Cost is €8.50 The trains start running before 6am. A taxi will take longer and cost €50 +

You can also take the Metro or a taxi to the Opera and then take the Opera bus to the airport.

If you go to the Plaza St. Michel, you can take a taxi or you can go down a level and take the RER B train to CDG.
