How do you get from Sevilla to Lagos?
Hi John, I am also planning that route in July. My friend last summer took an overnight bus that left at 10 or 11pm and arrived early morning in Lagos and it was non-stop. She said it was very cheap and it was a nice charter bus and very safe. They went to the bus station and bought their ticket the first day in Seville. We are only going to be in Seville 2 days and have been told that is enough time in advance to buy the tickets. If anyone thinks this is a bad idea please let me know! :)
I'm planning on just going to the TI on arrival or maybe in Granda (our city before seville) to ask where the bus station is etc.
I believe you can take the train but it involves several transfers.
Hope that helps!!! Happy travels!
You drive from Sevilla to Lagos. Such an easy drive, even inside of Sevilla. Consider renting from www.doyouspain.com, we frequently rent from them, got nice little Hyundais or Fiats from their local provider Crown rent a car...
I agree, no cross-country one-way rental. Sorry, I wasn't considering you might want to do that one-way.
The only problem with Andreas suggestion is if you want to leave the car in Portugal there is a very large fee for drop-off. We took the bus from Sevilla, leaving about 7 AM, and got to Lagos shortly after noon. Then took a local bus to Salema. No problema!
Thank You so much for all your help!
