Driving from Nurnberg around 10am heading to Salzburg, with maybe a stop in Munich for a snack. Hoping to arrive in Salzburg around 4pm - can that work? or am I dreaming? Ck into Blobergerhof for 2 nights - no dinner there on Sunday ni - what could we see or do before and after dinner ? thinking of taking a ride on the Funicular to the Fortress for a view of the Old Town at night. Good idea? Thinking of dinner at the Reiterhof or at the Augustiner Braustubl - any comments? After this night, we will have 2 and 1/2 full days to enjoy the Salzburg and surrounding areas. Things we wish to see and enjoy: Salzburg's "Old Town" sights - a concert one night in Salzburg - Cable car ride on the Jennerbahn for view - Lake Konigsee boat ride - Berchtesgaden town and Documentation Center - Hellbrunn Castle and Mondsee Looking for good advice from wise travelers......as to how to manage our time thanx much....
