From the internet they all look pretty similar. Is that the case? Are they all enclosed? Trying to find something quiet as i am hearing impaired and anyone giving a tour won't be understood anyway. Less people the better. Want to do this at night. Merci
http://www.batobus.com/ This is one I have read about.
Enjoy your visit!
Batobus is a hop on/off deal. It has no narration other than announcing the stops. If narration isn't important, all the boats follow the exact same track. Most have both interior and exterior seating. Check the batobus site for times, they shut down before it gets dark in the summer.
Our favorite are "Les Vedettes du Pont-Neuf," http://www.vedettesdupontneuf.com/, which depart from the northern tip of Ile St. Louis, on the northern side of (surprise) Pont Neuf. They are smaller boats, and not so lit up. There's an enclosed part and an outdoor part. You can get a discount coupon from their website.
I also liked Les Vedettes du Pont Neuf very much.
