I have not been back to Germany in 30 years, since the year I was an exchange student. THIS is the summer of the big reunion with my favorite country, and I'm arriving from Paris on my mumble-th(insert large number here) birthday! I'd love to have a splurge meal that night to celebrate. What is your favorite restaurant along this stretch of the Rhein? It'll be August, so outdoors would be lovely, but we're arriving by train, so it can't be too far away from a town. All suggestions welcome, either side of the river.
