So many choices... Looking for best recommendations (places you've actually stayed at) with a nightly budget under 100 Euro in good locations for the above mentioned.

I've stayed at the Hostal Santa Cruz and the Hostal Cruz Sol, on Plaza Santa Cruz, about 50 meters from Plaza Mayor and a long block from Sol. These are not "hostels,"but 2-star hotels...very modern and updated on the inside. About 55 Euro/night for a double. hostalcruzsol.com and hostalsantacruz.com. At maps.google.com, copy and paste these coordinates (40.41528 -3.70559) and you can see it thru satellite view, and street view.
