My husband really wants to stay in at least one hostel so I think we will be probalby doing it in Paris.
We will be there just one night 5/27 so what hostel do you recommend. I had started a previous thread about perfect hostel, but people didn't seem too hot on it, so I am looking for other recommendations.

I haven't stayed here, but it's been highly recommended on this Helpline many times and it looks really good.

How far is thie oops hostel from all the typical "touristy sites" in Paris, i.e the Arc du Triomphe, Eifel Tower etc.
How long by foot and metro?

Any other budget hotel or hostel recommendations that are close to the touristy scene would be appreciated. The Oops and the MIJE are booked for the day that I need :(

It's too bad the three MIJE hostels are full. From personal experience I recommend them highly.
You could try Le Village Hostel in Montmartre. It gets very good reviews.
