Best driving route from Lindau to Konstanz, without a ferry.

It will all be busy on the north shore of the lake in August. Driving the north shore you are far enough from the lake to not see anything but close enough to have plenty of traffic.

Are you going to the city of Konstanz or to the Mainau Island?
