We would like to pick up a rental car from Malaga airport and then return it at AVE for our return trip to Madrid - any suggestions on a car rental agency that has a desk at both locations (airport & AVE)? Is it cheaper to return car to the airport? thank you!

We dropped a car off at the Malaga airport, but have never done the train station. Good info here: http://www.malagaairport.eu/tourism/malaga/maria-zambrano-station.php "You will also find four car hire firms here: Avis, Europcar, Hertz and National Atesa." We alwsys use auto europe.com, a broker based her in the States. According to their web site you can pick it up at the airport and drop it off at two locations in town, one being the train station. (go to their web site and play with the pick-up and drop off locations.) I would call them, at their headquarters in Maine) to ensure that you are dropping it off at the Maria Zambrano station, where the AVE train is located.
