Hey folks, I've got about 90 minutes in Zurich between trains on a Thursday in mid-July around 1pm. What should be my top choice of something to do (including grabbing a relatively inexpensive lunch)?
Exit by the main door ( near the Blue Angel). Out on the street, look across to our right and you will see a Coop market. Just inside, toward the right, is a large case with readymade salads, sandwiches, etc. Take you pick, add a beverage, and walk out toward the river. Walk along the river toward the lake until you find a place to sit--- the stone wall, or a bench. Sit and enjoy your lunch and the scene, then walk a bit more, cross over on a bridge and return on the other side. That is what I would do, anyway.
