We will taking the train from Interlaken to Paris and I know you have to switch trains in Bern. Is this worth seeing for a few hours before we head to Paris? Where can we put our luggage?? Thanks!!

Bern is a nice place to live, but has limited tourist appeal. Personally I would use that time in Paris. There are lockers at the Bern train station. On another note, you may want to consider taking the TGV train to Paris from Basel instead...they operate more frequently. There are also direct trains from Interlaken to Basel.
