Berlin Flea Markets

Hi folks, Have any of you explored the Berlin Sunday flea markets? I'm most interested in items from the early to mid 20th century (rather than say, deals on a packet of new socks). We're staying in the Mitte area, if that is a factor Thanks! todd

Hi, I can recommend the Book Sale on Museuminsel by the Bodemuseum, was there on a Sunday a couple of years ago, it's pretty fascinating, esp. if you're interested in military history, both general and specialised on WW II. Practically all works are in the original German, some with the English translations. Good primary sources you can find...diaries, German Army division histories, letters, memoirs, esoteric military "stuff" that never got translated into English.
