I just found out about this and am so happy that I will be in Berlin this week so that I can see this. The photos from last year look fantastic. If you are going to be in Berlin from now until the 24th, set aside some time in the evening to run around the city to see the different light exhibits.

Yes! We didn't know about it until we got to the top of the Reichstag Wednesday night and saw fireworks. I had assumed that they always lit up the Brandenburg Gate like that, but after the fireworks I had to Google what was going on, and found out about the festival. The next evening, they lit up the TV tower at Alexanderplatz, as if that thing didn't look like a disco ball already :) they also projected a leopard print onto the Berliner Dom. Glad I happened to be in town for this!
