Is the Berlin Brandenburg International Airport (BBI) still under construction? I have a flight on Lufthansa to Budapest via Munich scheduled on May 4 and I think it departs from Tagel, but I'm not certain, my booking confirmation says nothing about terminal (or airport for that matter). If it's Tagel, can I take the S-Bahn or U-Bahn all the way to the airport or is a bus involved? I know there is an express Bahn to Schönefeld. If the new airport is up and functioning, is there a U-Bahn or S-Bahn to it?

The new airport has been delayed again and definitely will not open in 2013. Your flight will depart from either Tegel or Schönefeld. You better check.

It's comforting to know the US doesn't have a lock on glacially slow --AKA delayed and over-budget--projects. By the time this project is done, it will be out-dated. Thanks for the info; I can cross BBI off the list of possibilities.
