Looking at a week to 10 days in mid march 2013 to amsterdam and brussels. I have been to Italy, Ireland, paris and london during this time the past few years. Wondering what people think cost would be like. We are 3 in our group and look to spend smart on hotels and food. I use Rick's books extensively and appreciate any comments.

Todd, I'd have to sit down with a calculator and a sharp pencil to work out what the typical costs might be. It would be difficult to arrive at an accurate figure, as your touring style and interests may be different from mine. As you use Rick's books extensively, I'd suggest having a look at the Amsterdam, Bruges & Brussels Guidebook to get some idea on Hotel and food costs. I was on a RS tour (11 days) of that area last year, and found that the costs were similar to other places in western Europe. Happy travels!
