rick:
Our latest edition of your guidebooks finds nothing about accommodations and sights in Hamburg. We need 1 or two nights there. We arrive there July 30th on the Queen Mary 2. Also, we come back to Hamburg to catch our flight home. Anything in the reasonable B&B range? Many thanks, Bob
Hamburg is the most beautiful and most elegant city in Germany. And it's got more bridges (many, many more) than Venice, Italy. Given all the beauty, the Fish market, the musical theatres and other nightlife, the fascinating harbour, the 3rd largest in busy-ness in the world etc etc. Europeans visiting Hamburg usually stay 3 or 4 days in the city.
