Beaune

My husband and I will be in Beaune for 3 nights (4 days.)

Any recommendations for places to stay, preferably a relaxing B&B with a vineyard or at least a garden? We are thinking 100-150 euros/night? Les Jardins de Lois is booked :(

Any recommendations on wine tours or cooking classes? We did a wine/olive oil tasting and cooking class while in Tuscany (recommended by Rick Steve's) and it was amazing. Does anyone know of anything similar?

Thank you!

I don't know if this will appeal to you, but there are many wine shops and caves with tasting very close to Beaune. You can rent a bicycle and pedal to them through the vineyards.

This is a great way to experience the land--the territory of the terroire. The bicycle rental shop that Rick recommends is great to deal with and very helpful with suggestions and itineraries.

My wife and I stayed at the lovely Hotel des Remparts. I believe it is in Rick's book. Very lovely hotel with a lovely courtyard and very helpful staff. It is just inside the old city walls of Beaune. It is not in the village surrounding (if you want vinyards and B&B) but it is in a great location if you would like to be in the city of Beaune.
