I will be traveling to Seville and then on to Tarifa in early September. I was hoping to travel to one more town while there. I am looking for relaxing on the beach and really exploring the culture. I want old architecure, locals, and the 'true' Spain experience. We will not have a car so I am looking for something accessable by public transportation. Ideally something that will allow for easy travel back to Seville at the end of our stay since our flight leaves from there.

We visited Tarifa last September. It has a huge, sandy beach with a "traffic jam" of kite surfers that must go on for miles, it's so colorful. Tarifa is a port but it has a small old town with a stone gate & parts of the wall enclosing/protecting it remain. There were no high rise hotels like on the Mediterranean side, but enough cafes. We just had a relaxing day watching the ocean. Have a fund trip.
