My husband and I are planning on spending July touring around Western Europe and we will be ending our trip in Barcelona. We thought that a night or two at a beach resort in the area (mainland or island) would be a fun way to end our trip. Any recommendations? Thank you :)

we went to the Costa Brava in may to the town of L'Escala, lots of people go to Stiges, not far from Barcelona.

we stayed at a very cute town called Tossa de Mar. You can take the bus from Barcelona. we stayed at the Best Western Hotel Mar Menuda which was very nice.
