Batobus in Paris

Is this a good value. We want to cruise downt the Seine and they even offer open tour buses. Anyone take advantage of this. Advice. Thanks.

I used a one-day pass on the batobus when I was in Paris last summer. I had already taken a Seine boat tour on a previous visit so I didn't need the commentary those offer. I liked the batobus for getting from one site to another. It was slower than the Metro and more expensive than city buses but you get to see a lot while you're getting from one place to another and it was more relaxing. I never used the open tour buses so can't comment on them but I recommend the batobus.

There are one day and multiple day passes you can buy for the batobus. The more days, the better the deal is. You don't get commentary, but I would rather go down the river from place to place than be underground and not see anything. I bought a 5 day pass my first trip to Paris in 2006. It was about twice the price of a one day pass. I've used the metro and buses on later trips.
