I was just reading some messages about those who have been to Paris and almost all recommended the batobus. Can you tell me how/where to get tickets and how it works?
Go to any Batobus pier and buy the passes. There are eight of them. Google Batobus and you should find them. It takes 80 minutes to make a complete circuit but you can cut the time by getting off on the wrong bank and crossing the Seine by a nearby bridge. Batobus goes from the Eiffel Tower to the Jardin des Plantes and then back up the right bank. It turns around by the Eiffel Tower.
There are two items here to be aware of - Batobus and Balabus
Batobus is the ferry on the river.
Balobus is a specific bus route for tourists.
Information for tickets etc are available here:

I love batobus but wouldn't use it as transportation. The whole process was a little slow for a transportation means, for me anyways. I would just take it once or twice.
