Bathrooms in hotel rooms in Rothenburg

This might be a stupid question, and I hope it is. I've been looking at the webpages for some of the hotel's that Rick recommends in Rothenburg. I've noticed in some of the room pictures, I see showers, tubs, and sinks in the main part of the room. Is this how most rooms are there? Are the toilets in a separtate room? (hopefully)

Example: http://www.klosterstueble.de/ISY/frame-en_hotel.html

I've seen several similar to this.

I"ve only stayed at the Eisenhut Hotel and Reichs-kuechenmeister. Both hotel rooms had separate bathrooms within the room itself.

I went to your link, and this is a very upscale looking hotel room. It will definitely have a toilet in a separate room in the room. No, most rooms are not like this one.

What a great looking hotel!!

Yes, the toilets will be in a seperate room. A number of the hotels I've stayed at in the area had offered rooms like this, and usually the showers also have a "modesty curtain". We never tried one of these rooms, opting for more traditional rooms (I think that's going to change next time we're over there), but this one looks really nice. If you decide to stay there, we want a full report on how the hotel was.

Have fun! Gary

We stayed at Klosterstueble two years ago and loved it. Our bathroom was entirely separate from room and was just about the nicest bathroom we have had anywhere. It was recently renovated with all new tile &fixtures and had Grohe faucets, etc which is an upscale brand for sure. The room was very nice with some antiques, oriental rug, wood floor, great beds with nice linens. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with Klosterstueble

I've looked at the link as well and LOVED the room that has the bathtub right next to the bed. Indeed very romantic - and unfortunately usually quite an expensive set-up. Once, we booked a very nice hotel room during the off season out on Vancouver Island. It also had a very similar room design which felt just wonderful. The majority of rooms would not feel that luxurious.

The toilet would be separate in those special rooms.

I just noticed your note regarding hotels in Rothenburg. We stayed inside the walls of Rothenburg at the Gastehaus Flemming. It was a delightful stay, with bathrooms in separate rooms. Regina prepares a nice breakfast that is included as part of a very reasonable room rate. We found the site in Rick's book.

We stayed at Pension Poessel in Rhotenburg. The bathroom was down the hall. It was a nice place. I'd stay there again.
