I read about things to do in Paris; Cruise Seine River. My question is: Is it necessary to book this cruise ahead of time? Oh, yeah, I just want to take the cruise, not the dinner deal. Can I just get there a bit earlier to sign in the cruise?

Just show up unless you absolutely want to be on the boat at a specific time (ie sunset). You can always go earlier in the day to purchase in advance, but it shouldn't be necessary to book days in advance.

Sunset is the perfect time, and I don't think you need to book it too far in advance. I would consider stopping by a little earlier in the day, the day you want to go. Then be sure to get in line early to get a good seat. Good call to skip the dinner cruise!
