We will be in Paris on Bastille Day. What can we expect? Where should we go?

In general, the day is a celebration with large crowds of well behaved people. Picnics on the Champ de Mars, fireworks, museums and many businesses/restaurants open. Overall a great day. Lots of celebration events going on as well.
