My husband and I jumped at the opportunity a couple of months ago to buy very reasonably priced round-trip airline tickets to Pamplona in late October and are now reading everything we can find to prepare for a two-week adventure in Basque country. We're planning to rent a car and stay in Pamplona, the Monasterio de Leyre, St Jean-de-Luz (France), and Bilbao. We'd love to hear recommendations and advice from any of you who are familiar with the area, especially at this time of year.
