Hello, With the breathtaking views of Eze and the waterfront location of Villefrance, I am having a hard time deciding which location to stay for two nights. We are an active family that is driving this trip. Any thoughts from those who have stayed in either or both? THank you for your help. Caroline

if you're driving eze is probably better. if you only have 2 days, maybe a car is not necessary - riding the train on the coast line and stop by various towns can fill up 2 days very quickly. you can stay in villefrance to ride the train very easily. or you can stay in nice so you can take bus up to eze for 1 day, and 2nd day train around to see antebes and menton, or any other small towns on the coast.

We stayed four nights in Villefranche and wish we had booked longer. We did a half day in Eze and felt that was enough. We stayed at the Hotel de la Darse in a seaview room, would return in a heartbeat.

If you are using public transportation, then Villefranche. Easy train and bus access. I rented an appartement in the old town, pure heaven.
