Anyone know a reasonably priced restaurant / tapas bar in the Barceloneta area? Any other favourite restaurants in Barcelona generally that people would recommend? Thanks in advance. Alan

Taller de Tapas in the nearby Barri Gotic is good with a nice outdoor area if the weather's fair. Reasonably priced. A bit further away but easy by taxi is the classic 4Gats (4 Cats) which some reviews deride as touristy but we thoroughly enjoyed. If you go, try to sit upstairs.

Tex, thanks The friend I'm going with used to live in Barcelona many years ago so we know the 4 Cats. Good to hear it's still worth a visit. We'll check out the Taller de Tapas. Thanks again. Alan
