Barcelona with children

For those of you who visited Barcelona with children, (ages 6-12) what were your children's favorite experiences? We will be there for 4 days in April and are staying in an apartment, looking forward to it but would love your suggestions as to what absolutely to do----or what absolutely not to do! Thanks.

I went there last year with my girls aged 8 & 9. They loved everything Gaudi. It was just so different than what they were used to that it kept their attention.
Their next favorite thing was watching mom try to remember high school Spanish and then giggling.
