BARCELONA WEATHER

Margaret...My wife and I spent 6 days in Barcelona and its' surrounding countryside in early October last year and experienced temps in the mid to upper 70's with only one rainy morning and no wind to speak of. Evening temps dropped to the upper 50's and low 60's. The crisp evening temps made strolling the harbour a true pleasure. Although the temps were moderate, the sun can be very strong. Many Barcelonans, especially seniors, are not shy about using their umbrellas to ward off the mid-day sun...a habit my wife quickly adopted (actually, I think it was just an excuse to purchase a parasol she had her eyes on).
