Barcelona to paris-easy jet or air iberia?

Im seeking advice regarding flying from Barcelona to Paris. Has anyone flown with Easyjet or Air Iberia and would you recommend either of these carriers?
With thanks,
Kathryn

I've flown with Easyjet a couple of times and thought they were great. They are considered one of the best of the budget airlines. As with any budget airline, you have to be careful of their rules, though, so you don't get caught with overweight luggage.

Last year we flew from Barcelona to Paris on Iberia for $70. Haven't flown on EasyJet but our flight was easy and quick.

We used easyjet in early June, to fly from Barcelona to Paris. As others have said, you have to be careful about their rules re: luggage. At the risk of starting controversy, my own opinion is that easyjet workers can be very arbitrary-- and even discriminatory-- in how they apply their rules. We are non-caucasian (asian-american), and, in Paris, we got pulled aside for carry-on (only allowed a roller or a shoulder bag, but not both)... however, another passenger carrying, count it: roller, shoulder bag, and two bags of duty-free shopping, schmoozed his way past the boarding gate clerk. She stopped him at first, he winked at her and said something in French, and she gave him a "oh, go ahead" wave. If you've experienced discrimination before, then you probably know how unfair that all seemed. Oh, well...

Dear Hernando, thankyou. It seems Iberia have an 'easier' luggage policy than easyjet. We are attempting to travel with a carry on 7kg bag each plus our handluggage. With EJ we would have to stow the case even though it fits cabin size regulations as you can only take one bag!
Thanks again its good to have a vote of confidece when making these choices

I took the night train from Barcelona to Paris, in a comfortable couchette, and loved it. We pulled out of Barcelona around 7-8PM and came in early the next morning. It saved me a hotel night, trains stations were handy in town, and I got to enjoy each day in full in both cities. It's an alternative well worth looking into, IMO.

Thankyou for your responses. I would heve been positively FUMING if I had witnessed that kind of arbitrary baggage policy enforcement. Im so sorry that happened to you.
Ii would like to catch the train only the plane is cheaper. Thanks again
