I have a group of 15 people. What is the best way to get everyone to las Sagrada Familia, the Picasso Museum and the beach? Are any of those areas within walking distance of the port?
A very long walk for sure. And all are in different directions. It might be able to do it on public transport, but I think a taxi/van would be the best idea. Lots of disntance between each one as well. You might check on www.madridman.com...he has Barcelona listings as well...perhaps a tour agency.
We did a walking tour in Barcelona that used the metro system to get to Sagrada Familia As long as everyone in your group knows where to get off, I would think it wouldn't be a problem. The Picasso Museum is walking distance from Las Ramblas. The port bus gets you to the bottom of Las Ramblas. Not sure what to tell you about the beach since I don't know if you have a specific place in mind. You can arrange a van ahead of time like has been suggested, or you can take a bus.
Your group can easily take the Metro to Passeig de Gràcia, see the famous architecture of Barcelona, then walk to the Sagrada Familia. From Las Ramblas your group can walk through el Born (see that cool part of Barcelona) and then out to Barceloneta (fun sites along the way) / have lunch along the water front .. and then the beach!
