I am going to be in Barcelona next week and wanted to make a reservation for the La Sagrada Familia. I went on servicaixa.com which is like their Ticketmaster. I was confused because they have tickets for the La Sagrada Familia Then separately you can get a ticket for the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia. Then also separate is a ticket for the towers. I am not sure how they break it down. Can anyone tell me the difference and which is the best. Thanks.
Shoshana
I can tell you that there are separate tickets to go up the elevator into one of the towers. About 6 people at a time fit in the elevator so they give you a time for the ride up. Or, you can walk up about 400 stairs. I don't know about the difference between La Sagrada Familia and the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia. Our tickets for admission and our elevator tickets got us into everything. I've seen La Sagrado Familia referred to as an unfinishe Basilica. However, it's not a cathedral. There is a 14th century cathedral in Barcelona.
Hi, Shoshana I don't know about the website you mentioned, but you can buy tickets directly on the Sagrada Familia website, sagradafamilia.cat. The Basilica is the church. The ticket without audiotape is 13 euro.
Yes, do see the exhibits below the sanctuary-separate tic is not needed. We were there in May four years after our first visit-wow, the progess was amazing. The gift shop is worth a visit also. We did not do the tower.
Don't forget to visit the exhibits underneath. I can't recall if it's a seperate ticket, but it's worth it.
