I am looking at two hostels Yellow Nest and Mellow Hostel, also maybe Garden House Hostel. The are in outer neighborhoods in Barcelona, looks like west of Les Corts and two in central/noth Horta/Guinardo. Has anyone had firsthand experience with these neighborhoods....are they safe? We are looking for somewhere we can walk around after dark, go to local eateries without tourist prices etc. We dont mind being out of the city center and using the metro. They are both either on L5 or L3. Thanks
