Barcelona neighborhood?

I am considering apartments for a 10-night visit to Barcelona this summer. 3 nights will overlap with a friend who is staying in El Ravel, and who we will want to spend time with while we overlap. I've pretty much narrowed my choices down to two: one is in Grazia, near Sotacabina Teatre:
one is in El Camp d'en Grassot i Gracia Nova, by Carrer de Sardenya & Travessera de Gracia. I am not sure if these two locations are basically the exact same thing, or if one is better than the other... Can anyone please comment? Also, I am not sure whether I should look for something closer to the Ramblas area... I don't want El Ravel, as I read it can be a bit seedy. Important for me is quiet so we can sleep well. I don't want to be too far from tourist places of interest... We'll have a car, as this is one leg on a two month trip... Thanks for your help!!

They sound like they are very similar locations. I'd do a google map search of each address and check them each out. My first consideration would be the most convenient public transit access (metro or bus) so you can get around town easily and cheaply. If they both seem pretty good for transportation, I'd go with the one away from busy streets, so you won't have as much noise.

Thanks Brad, I did a google search. They look like similar distances to downtown by Cataluna. One by bus and the other by metro. Is one method more
reliable than the other? I appreciated your reply. Thanks again.
