I'm planning a trip to Barcelona, Lourdes and Paris in November. Does anyone know what is the quickest or most direct route from Barcelona to Lourdes? Plane, Train, or Bus? I've never been to Spain or France before, so if I choose train, is transferring lines at the train station easy? Thank you.
I think the quickest and most direct route would be by plane. I believe Vueling flys from Barcelona to Lourdes. www.vueling.com
Thank you for your reply. I tried using the website, but they don't have thier flight schedule posted for November yet. So I wanted to look for a back up just in case Veuling doesn't fly from BCN-LDE in November. Besides Veuling, can you recommend any other airlines, train or bus?
The only one I could find that flys Barcelona to Lourdes is Vueling. I'm not an expert on train travel, and there are many on the site, but I think it would be a rather roundabout route. I'm thinking you would have to go to Narbonne, through Perpignan, and then to Lourdes. But I may be wrong...
Yes, Vueling flies from Barcelona to Lourdes. You're simply looing out too far. Here's a link to an example of what I see in September. LINK TO VUELING There is also the train. It's a 9.0-9.5hr train ride with 2-3 train changes depending on the run.
