We are traveling with a group of people (3 families) and are looking for either recommended hotels, apartments, or Bed and Breakfasts for 2 nights before leaving on a cruise. We need them to be fairly cost-effective for our party. Thank you.

We loved Hostal L'Antic Espai in Barcelona. Good location, wonderful owners, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds. It's recently renovated and filled with antiques. Relatively inexpensive. They are very responsive to inquiries, which we really appreciated.

I found a couple of great sites for Barcelona offering short term apartments - some of them have a 3 night minimum but others don't.
Check out enjoybarcelona.com and/or gobcn.com
We are going this summer and rented a great 3 bedroom place for 110 euros a night!
