Any Barcelona lodging suggestions for a couple of days? Thanks.
Around $200/night. Taking a cruise so we won't have a car. As for what area to lodge in I don't have any idea. Never been to Barcelona. But a few suggestions would be me most appreciated.

its a botique B+B near the center of town.
I stayed at their sister location in Madrid and it was clean and reasonable
Check out Hotel Ciutat Barcelona on Princessa, one block from the Picasso Museum. They have a small rooftop pool and modern rooms. Be sure to see the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Casa Batllo. Els Quatre Gats is a fun place to eat. Want more suggestions, let me know.

We stayed at a little place called Turin Hotel right off La Rambla street. Which is the main "walking Street." Our hotel was only 2 blocks from the La Boqueria market. Which is a famous fish/fruits/vegetable market in Spain. Also has a couple restaurants. The Turin was around $88 Euro and was very small but newly renovated. Not bad at all. Good luck and congrats on the upcoming marriage.
I do. We are going end of September for our honeymoon. Which area do you suggest?
Hotel Le Cathederal ... off the square in front of the Barcelona Cathederal -- new, convenient, great location, very nice stay!
Amanda, you asked which area was recommended...Bari Gotic without question. We stayed in Hotel Colon directly across from the Cathedral...it was central to everything. Near the Ramblas but not close enough to be affected by the crowds or noise. Lots of good tapas bars nearby, and an RS favorite restaurant withing 2 blocks (El Pintor) where we had the best paella we had during our entire stay in Spain.
