Barcelona apartment rental

I am renting this apartment in Barcelona for a week in April. The owner lives in Colorado and has been terrific about providing information. We've rented apartments from www.vrbo.com in Florida, Colorado, and Paris and have always had an excellent experience. Thank you for taking the time to abate my concerns with vacation rentals by owners; this is my first attempt at renting an apartment versus hotlel; unfortunately the thought of internet scams pollutes one's attempts to access different accomodations. I will let everyone know whether my apartment proves to be a good value, so that others may enjoy Barcelona's Dreta del Eixample area.

I have used vrbo.com to rent throughout the U.S., Italy and in Paris. I have always been happy with what I have gotten. In September I will be in Barcelona and am renting an apartment. You can find it at vrbo.com #73784. Obviously I have not yet stayed there, but one of my co-workers did. That's how I found it and she recommended it highly.

Noreen, we usually use VRBO or Homelidays when we rent apts in the EU. We have had great success. But it is just like renting anything; you need to do your homework. Check for "customer reviews", either on the site, or at places like Tripadvisor. Get the exact address, and Google Earth/Google map/Street View the location. Go up and down the streets, and see if it is in a noisy area, etc. Make sure that you understand how many floors/stairs you will have to climb, and if it has a elevator. Look for a rental that has an local contact; if something goes wrong, you will want to be able to know that there is someone there to help.
And last of all, we always buy trip insurance through Squaremouth.com. If something does go wrong during my trip, I want piece of mind that comes with a good policy.

I have not tried in verbo. But I have tried in sleepbcn.com. They have gave me very good service for apartment in Barcelona. I have some work there. Why not you try here. It is very easy and trustful. Rent Flats Barcelona
