I am planning a trip to Barcelona and then onto either Paris or? We just vacationed in Madrid,Granada and Seville. We loved Spain so much we want to go back but cannot decide how best to utilize our next adventure. We really enjoyed the Spanish people and food and decided we need to see Barcelona. Any suggestion are greatly appreciated. We will fly open jaw out of another European city. We prefer train and bus travel. thanx. We are going next Sept.

Are you wine drinkers? The third week in Sept is harvest festival for the Rioja region. If you travel to Logrono, you can experience that. Honestly it's a trip I am considering doing not too far in the future. Barcelona - Logrono - Bordeaux region in France - Burgundy region in France - end in Paris. Granted this is a trip for wine drinkers. We too recently experienced Seville, Granada & Madrid.

That could be a problem. Two of us are wine drinkers. But our traveling partners are not. That does sound like a great idea. Are you driving? or going by train or bus?

I haven't figured out the transportation yet. It's a trip that's still in the chalk board phase. If for some reason you end up at that wine festival in Logrono - drop me a note and let me know how it was. It might be 2-3 years before we head over.
