help, any ideas on where to stay in Barcelona, april 17-april 21, on or near the ramblas, about $150.00(us)???per nite??

RIck has some great suggestion in his book - also check under the "best destinations" web site here in travel tips under spain/barcelona. Im about to go a week after yourself and will be staying in the Hotel-Catalonia chain's ALBINONI. Its about 140 for single - 170 for double. Right a block behind the Ramblas and 1 block below the main plaza.

thank you so much for your tip. I have checked every hotel in Rick Steve's book, and nothing available in Barcelona, per his suggestions(not staying in a hostal) i will check your place.
