I sure hope the banks in Europe are going to be ok when we go over in Dec. This is affecting everywhere..what are your thoughts?
There will be banks open in Europe in December.
I've had no problem withdrawing funds at Barclay's in England, so far, using my BofA card. I expect to be using BNP Paribas ATMs next week in Paris. Fortunately I brought home over 200 euros last spring, so I may not have to visit the ATM.
Char, there are about a hundred more important things to worry about than whether the Europeans banks are OK. Of course, they are OK just in the same manner that 99% of the banks in the US are OK.
I was just making a statement..I know they will be open...a global economy
I think you have to assume normal banking activity will be available. If it isn't, your travel plans will be the least of your worries.
