Has anyone stayed in Bamberg at a hotel/brewery? I have read were some local breweries which are everywhere in Bamberg have some hotel accomodation. I find the idea interesting if the accomodations are acceptable. Otherwise I certainly can find a regular hotel for my wife, adult son and I. Thanks

I have no experience with staying in breweries. You can do a google or yahoo search and find a couple (brauerei gasthaus bamberg), such as:
Look under "Gäste Zimmer".
The Bamberg Tourist Information Office would probably respond to an email.
I have found it saver to take a place unseen in Germany than in the USA.
