B&b or countryside hotel near Munich?.

My young adult son and I will be in Munich area in May. I prefer to stay in the countryside and train or tram into the city. We have a car. Any recommended places outside Munich with more of a small town feel? Thanks

Hi! We were in the Munich area in September 2008. Because the Oktoberfest was running these days, all hotel and B&B's were full, so we found a B&B in Dachau, 15 minutes train ride from Munich station. I have to tell it was one of the best hotel we've stayed. Dachau area was awesome... From the station at Dachau to the hotel was a 10 minute walking. My husband and I really enjoy the walking everyday, really. Here's the website of the hotel:
