Anyone have a recommendation for a private zimmer or pension in Regensburg. Out budget is 60 euros.

I suggest you look on Regensburg's website, www.regensburg.de. Maybe someone will suggest something else, but you should at least compare the listings on the website to other suggestions. In the Altstadt, I found that Privatzimmer were rare; there were mostly Ferienwohnungen (vacation apartments), but I did find at least one hotel in your price range. I found some Privatzimmer in your price range in the area defined as "city district".

Hotel Peterstor is within your price range. It is on the edge of pedestrian zone, not far from the train station. The drawback to us was the limited open hours of the desk.

The price on Hotel Reservation Service is 58 euros per night. (It gets a good rating on the HRS website.) I did not see a price on the hotel website.
